Jones yesterday said he would be unable to find the time to meet with his Wallabies coaching successor, Connolly, and Australian Rugby Union boss Gary Flowers this afternoon.
The meeting had been scheduled by Flowers last week to resolve season-long simmering tensions between the two warring coaches.
