North Harbour's Lisa Dickson has bowed out of the inaugural bowls World Cup singles in the semifinal in Hong Kong.
She was beaten 6-6 5-10 by Fiji's Litia Tikoisuva for the second time in the tournament.
Earlier in the day Dickson beat Milagros Witheridge (Philippines) in straight sets in the quarterfinal.
Hong Kong's Grace Chu took the women's title, beating Tikoisuva 8-7 6-8 2-1.
Terry Johnson of Manawatu ended his men's campaign with a 7-7 4-9 loss in the playoff for fifth against Canada's Nick Watkins.
Australian Mark Casey won the men's title.
