Angela and Mandy Boyd are crediting an improved relationship for their run to the women's pair finals at the national lawn bowls championships on the North Shore.
The Boyd sisters have set up a showdown against Nicole Toomey and Katelyn Inch in this afternoon's final, the third time they've reached the decider.
Angela Boyd says they're working better as a team.
"We've played in the pairs the last few nationals and we're sisters and that, and we know what each other needs to pick ourselves up and we just encourage each other."
This morning, Mike Kernaghan will face Alvin Gardiner in the men's singles final, while Leigh Griffin will play Elaine McClintock in the women's draw.
