Ali Forsyth and Mandy Boyd have skipped their respective fours sides to victory at the New Zealand bowls championships in Dunedin.
Boyd, who's side consisted of Angela Boyd, Sheryl McLean and Leigh Griffin, edged Sandra Keith's team 16-15 on an extra end in the women's final on Monday, while Forsyth's quarter of Justin Goodwin, Shannon McIlroy and Gary Lawson overcame an early deficit to beat Sheldon Bagrie-Howley's unit 21-13.
The win saw Forsyth's team sweep the event, with McIlroy winning the singles and Forsyt and Lawson winning the pairs. Forsyth now has nine national titles, Lawson has 13, McIlroy four and Goodwin three.
For Angela Boyd, the win saw her attain her gold star for a fifth national title, while McLaren scored her first, Griffin claimed her third and Mandy Boyd achieved her sixth.
