Cummins, 30, gained a cult following during his rugby union career for speaking in Aussie slang during his post-match interviews, with some of his classic one liners including:
• "The boys were on it like seagulls at a tip."
• "Sweatin' like a gypsy with a mortgage, actually."
• "I just saw the line, pinned me ears back and ended up bagging a bit of meat in the corner there, which was tops!"
• "You're as tough as woodpecker lips."
But the question on everyone's lips is whether or not Cummins will continue to use the slang that's made him famous during his time on The Bachelor.
"It'll be interesting to see what they do with him," Ryan said about the producers of the reality show.
"It'll be interesting if they cut his hair or get him to talk different or if he can keep up that slang for 12 weeks."
Last night Cummins appeared on The Project and Waleed Aly asked him if he is genuinely worried that none of the women on The Bachelor will understand a word he says.
"Yeah, look, mate — that's the tough thing," Cummins said.
" I mean, I can throw a few things out there, gasbag and, you know, chinwags and yarns and spin-offs and, you know, all those fun things.
"But when you get that confused look as if [to say], 'Are you a weirdo?' That's when you know you've got to reign that in and start talking English again."
Cummins was also asked why he agreed to appear on the reality show and gave a rather confusing answer about his search for love.
"They say you get three loves in life," the Honey Badger told The Project hosts.
"My first one, you know, probably cuts pretty deep. You're not really sure if it's infatuation or not. And the second one — you know, it may be love. But maybe you don't understand, 'cause you're still young and inexperienced at the timings and both your lives haven't really hit the right connection, the right point.
"So I suppose the third one — which — who knows, I could actually find — could be this one, where I've realised it's not infatuation, the timings of both of our lives have come to this point, and now we've connected and, hopefully, pressed forward into a happy future."
