Beach volleyball: Kiwi pair win against Germany

New Zealanders Kirk Pitman and Jason Lochhead are guaranteed to finish inside the leading nine teams at the world volleyball championships in Norway.

The 26th seeded pair upset German 16th seeds Sebastian Dollinger and Mischa Urbatzka in a sudden death match 21-17, 23-21 in 42 minutes to end the first round with a record of three wins and one loss.
