Up to 100 cubic metres of sand have been trucked in to the ASB Tennis Centre in Auckland city, for the last round of the New Zealand Beach Volleyball Tour competition.
Cheyne Baker was on hand yesterday to help prepare the stadium's centre court, in time for the competition to start on Friday.
The McEntee Hire Beach Volleyball Tour has been going since January 5, when it started in Christchurch before heading to Wellington and then on to Mt Maunganui.
The competition includes some of the country's fiercest volleyball players, including Anna Scarlett and Susan Blundell - dubbed the Twin Towers - for the New Zealand women's competition.
