A remarkable behind-the-backboard game-winning shot has provided the most stunning ending to a basketball game in Australia.
Trailing by one with three seconds to go in their Youth League contest, the Pakenham Warriors received a miracle shot to stun their opponents, the Mornington Breakers.
The fadeaway attempt from out of bounds sent the crowd into a mixture of celebration and stunned silence, something which was mirrored on the court as the Breakers stood in shock while the Pakenham bench rushed the court in jubilation.
The shot had even bigger meaning, as it saw the previously undefeated Mornington side fall to their first defeat in 15 games.
