New Zealand swatted Malaysia aside 113-56 at Bendigo Stadium to notch their second enormous win in the women's basketball competition.
The Tall Ferns opened up a double-figure lead inside four minutes and kept pulling away against smaller and less-skilled opponents to nearly match the 127-47 winning margin against Malta that started their campaign on Friday.
In their pool, New Zealand move to two wins alongside Nigeria, who beat Malaysia 97-67 on Friday.
The two teams will meet tonight in a match which will determine the pool winners, an important prize as they will almost certainly avoid gold medal favourites Australia in the semifinal.
