The Tall Ferns women's basketball team ended their European tour on a sombre note against the Czech Republic today, dropping their second match 46-73 in Zlin.
It was the team's lowest score of a six-match tour that yielded two wins against African minnows Angola in between losses to Spain, Japan and the Czechs.
The Tall Ferns, building up for the Beijing Olympics in August, lost the first leg of their doubleheader 51-72 yesterday and were again unable to assert themselves against the Eastern Europeans in the tour finale.
