Tania Tupu, two-time Olympian and veteran of the Tall Ferns for the past 10 years, yesterday announced her retirement.
Tupu first made the Tall Ferns as an 18-year-old in 1992.
She won a national title with the Waikato Lady Titans in 2002 and was one of the first women to try out for the WNBA.
