Nelson Giants point guard Michael Fitchett has been called up to the New Zealand men's basketball team.
Fitchett is the only new cap in the 14-strong squad named by new Tall Blacks' coach Nenad Vucinic.
Auckland guard Lindsay Tait returns to the squad after missing last year's World Championships through injury.
Harbour forward Daryl Cartwright has also earned a recall after a four year absence.
Power forward Craig Bradshaw and point guard Mark Dickel are expected to join the team before their first match against Venezuela on July 20.
