The Tall Blacks basketballers have been thumped 94-57 by Australia in game two of the Al Ramsay Shield series in Melbourne.
Despite leading the first quarter 16-13, the Tall Blacks struggled to find the net from then on and were outclassed in every area of the game by full time.
Coach Nenad Vucinic says the results have not surprised him.
He says going in to the campaign they knew it was a difficult proposition considering their opponent was Australia.
Boomers forward Mark Worthington netted a game-high 18 points while the Tall Blacks'; Lindsay Tait topped their score sheet with 14.
