Basketball: Defence a concern for Tall Blacks

Defence is the biggest concern for the New Zealand men's basketball team in the build-up to next week's World Championships in Turkey.

The Tall Blacks won three out of nine warm-up fixtures ahead of the tournament.

Captain Pero Cameron says through those results, they've identified a lack of intensity at times at the defensive end.

He says they're good in phases but for not long enough.

The Tall Blacks open their campaign against Lebanon Wednesday week.
