Axed Breakers player Pero Cameron could be about to link up with his Tall Blacks mentor Tab Baldwin in Turkey.
Baldwin's Turkish club Banvit Spor flew Cameron over this week to check out the facilities and meet the club's management
Baldwin said the talks went well but that it was just a feeling out process and if anything is going to happen it will later on.
He said they have had discussions about the possibility of Cameron joining them next year but nothing is signed yet.
If Cameron was picked up it would certainly mean an end for him in the Australian NBL, but with the local league bumped back next year due to the Commonwealth Games, he would still be able to turn out for the Waikato Titans.
Cameron is due to head home on Thursday night to link up with the Titans, and his coach Tim McTamney says he will play in this Sunday's match against Canterbury.
