Some of the New Zealand Breakers' biggest names of past seasons have been placed on the Australian National Basketball League free agents list released yesterday.
Key Tall Blacks players Pero Cameron, Dillon Boucher and Lindsay Tait are among nine 2004 squad members yet to re-sign with the Breakers, meaning they automatically become free agents, open to negotiation with other clubs.
The other Breakers on the list are four Australians - Ben Pepper, Ben Thompson, Blake Truslove and Matt Smith - and two Americans, Shawn Redhage and Marcus Timmons.
Several quality players from other clubs are also on the list, including newly crowned league Most Valuable Player Brian Wethers of the Hunter Pirates.
Fellow-2005 first team All-NBL members Jason Smith (Sydney), Darnell Mee (Wollongong) and Mark Bradtke (Melbourne) are yet to sign with their clubs.
Former Breakers Casey Frank and Paora Winitana are also classified as free agents.
