Denver Nuggets guard Nate Robinson's been fined US$10,000 for an altercation with New Zealander Steven Adams in their pre-season game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The NBA's president of basketball operations Rod Thorn has announced the punishment for pushing Adams from behind and striking him in the chest.
The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of the game, with Robinson earning an ejection from the arena.
Meanwhile, ESPN's Oklahoma writer Royce Young says Adams' teammate Reggie Jackson is singing his praises after some consistent pre-season performances.
"He basically just flatly said 'I didn't know he was this good, I knew he was pretty good at Pitt, but I didn't know he was this good'. So as well as impressing fans and media I think he's also impressing his teammates.''
