Facing one of the best teams in the NBA and one of the best basketballers alive, Steven Adams picked the perfect time to produce a highlight-reel play.
The Kiwi centre this afternoon unleashed a vicious dunk on the head of LeBron James, receiving a bounce pass from Russell Westbrook before rising high and slamming home over the four-time most valuable player.
Adams' outstanding play was not enough to prevent the Oklahoma City Thunder (17-9) from falling to a 104-100 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers (17-7), with James leading all scorers with 33 points to find plenty of revenge.
A day after his best game of the season so far, Adams finished with four points and five rebounds in the defeat, with the dunk forming part of his two-of-three shooting night.
