Kiwi NBA centre Steven Adams has posted a "double-double", but his Oklahoma City Thunder have slumped to their second straight road loss, falling to 112-123 Charlotte Hornets.
Adams scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, adding three assists, a steal and block over 35 minutes.
He continued his blistering form from the field, shooting 8/10 attempts and bringing his percentage to 80.7 (21/28) over the past three games.
The Thunder fell behind early and trailed 55-60 at half-time against the surprising Hornets, but took a one-point lead into the final quarter. Charlotte finished the stronger, with nine unanswered points in the final four minutes.
