C.J. McCollum was picked two places ahead of Adams in the 2013 draft in 10th. He's just signed a four-year, US$106 million contract extension with the Portland Trail Blazers
Giannis Antetokounmpo was picked three places behind Adams with the 15th pick. He's now signed on for four more years with the Milwaukee Bucks at $100 million.
Rudy Gobert, picked 27th overall in the 2013 draft, was a massive surprise to the NBA. He's just signed a four-year deal worth more than $100 million with the Utah Jazz.
Close, But no Cuban Cigars
Victor Oladipo was the second pick in the 2013 draft, 10 spots ahead of Adams. Just hours ago he inked a new contract with Oklahoma worth $84 million for four years.
Dennis Schroder was picked five places back of Adams with the 17th pick and has been confirmed on a four-year, $70 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks.
Cody Zeller was the 4th pick in the draft, and sealed a four year deal with the Charlotte Hornets worth $56 million.
21st pick Gorgui Dieng is also secured a four year deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves worth $64 million.
No Chance
Anthony Bennett, the No. 1 pick in the 2013 draft, has fallen from the top. He signed a two-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets back in July on a minimum-level contract.
Trey Burke was selected 9th overall and just got traded to the Wizards. He doesn't have the credentials to seek a maximum-level contract.
Lucas Nogueira, selected four places back from Adams in 16th, has hardly played for the Toronto Raptors - just 35 games over the past two seasons. He won't be expecting anything big, if anything at all.
