Steven Adams and his Oklahoma City Thunder were no match for defending NBA champions Cleveland Cavaliers today, bowing 107-91 on the road.
The result broke a three-game winning streak for the Thunder, their first loss since Adams returned from week-along absence with concussion.
Adams contributed seven points, 10 rebounds, an assist and a block in 27 minutes, while team-mate Russell Westbrook compiled his 24th triple-double of the season with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Cleveland built up a 13-point half-time lead over the second quarter, OKC closed to within seven points in the final period, but could not complete the comeback.
LeBron James had 25 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists, Kyrie Irving added 29 points and 10 assists, while Tristan Thompson chipped in 19 points and 12 rebounds.
