Fall at 231cm and around 130kg launched and barrelled into the midsection of the 188cm, 82kg Goodwin.
As you'd expect, the impact sent Goodwin sprawling off the court and behind the basket. But in good news, he did get the charge call.
Goodwin slowly made his way back to his feet and was grabbing at his groin before taking a seat on the bench.
He returned to the court in the fourth quarter and finished with 28 points on 10-18 shooting from the field while knocking down three threes.
His efforts both offensively and putting his body on the line defensively weren't enough as the Celtics claimed the 95-82 victory.
But after the game Goodwin jumped on to social media and tweeted out what he thought of the third quarter incident.
The move to step in front of the Tacko Fall freight train will earn plaudits from the coaching staff, but if Goodwin wants to have a long career in the game he might just want to try and strip the ball from the side and avoid taking the monster hit.
Both Fall and Goodwin are chasing an NBA roster spot and are hoping their impacts at Summer League will prove their worth.
If the impact from this one play alone doesn't do it we're not sure what will.
