San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker will play for France in the Olympic basketball qualifiers in July.
Parker was in doubt of playing in the tournament in the Philippines against the Tall Blacks and other nations due to the expected birth of his second son around the dates of the event.
Parker has told French newspaper L'Equipe his wife is making a sacrifice by allowing him to go and has told him to bring a medal home from Rio.
France and the Tall Blacks will also face the Philippines in their group.
