Confidence that Oklahoma City Thunder will empty the coffers to keep Steven Adams from testing the NBA's free agency.
It's rumoured the Kiwi centre will be offered a contract that could see him earn $22 million a year as Oklahoma City stop him from going to the market in which the salary cap is set to rise significantly.
Steven Adams' mentor Kenny McFadden says OKC are willing to put down a big offer.
He says they gave back up centre Enes Kanter a $70 million deal and so someone who is starting could be worth a lot more.
Adams is currently on $4.6 million a year.
