Kevin Durant has hit back at critics who claim he's taking a short-cut to a NBA championship.
The seven-time all-star has been unveiled as a Golden State Warriors player, three days after announcing he was leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder, who the Warriors beat in the Western Conference finals.
Durant will join fellow all-stars Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green at Golden State but says there are no short cuts in this league.
He says this was the hardest road and he took a leap.
Durant says calling the Thunder to tell them he wasn't returning was the hardest thing he's ever had to do in his life and tears were shed.
