Steven Adams and the Oklahoma City Thunder enjoyed a strong start to the back half of the NBA season, beating the Los Angeles Lakers in their first game following the All Star break.
Showing off their revamped roster after completing a trade with the Chicago Bulls, the Thunder pulled away in the second half today having held a seven-point lead at halftime.
Adams recorded a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds in the 110-93 victory, also chiming in with four assists, three steals and two blocks in a busy day on court.
Point guard Russell Westbrook picked up where he left off before the All Star break, adding another triple-double to his tally and needing only 19 minutes to do so.
Westbrook eventually finished with 17 points, 18 rebounds and 17 assists, shooting only four-of-18 from the field but doing more than enough to record his 28th triple-double in 58 games.
