Kiwi NBA basketball star Steven Adams limped out of training this morning with another injury just two weeks out from the start of the new season.
The Oklahoma City Thunder big man was just returning from a slight ankle injury he picked up in Spain earlier in the pre-season.
He went up for a dunk between two defenders and then collapsed on the ground. He got to his feet and walked under hiw own power to the locker room.
There was no immediate update given with Thunder coach Billy Donovan telling OKC beat writer Erik Horne of newsOK.com that he didn't know much about the injury at all.
"It's hard for me to say even if that didn't happen he'd play tomorrow," Donovan said, adding that he didn't know if the injury Adams sustained Thursday was to his right or left ankle.
