"What about Amber Rose?"
"No, she knows my girl," Young is recorded as saying.
Later footage suggests that Young did not know he was being filmed, seemingly shocked after the cameraman says "I'm glad you told my video all that."
"Huh?" Young said.
While it is not certain the identity of the two men in the video, claims have been made that the subject is in fact the 30-year-old Lakers star being filmed by fellow teammate, 20-year-old D'Angelo Russell.
And if the animosity in the Lakers changeroom is anything to go by, those claims hold significant weight.
ESPN reported that Lakers teammates had resorted to isolating Russell after the video surfaced, and that the tensions among players were responsible for the franchises worst ever defeat on Tuesday - a 48-point hammering at the hands of the Utah Jazz.
"Right now," one unnamed source told ESPN, "they're handling it by isolating him."
"This was a prank gone wrong and a mistake by [Russell], and he has to be held accountable, but I would hope he isn't overly criticised for it."
"It's bad. It's about as bad as it can get. There were trust issues already. Now there's no trust."
The 20-year-old point guard is even forced to eat on his own, with sources claiming players refused to sit at his table during a recent breakfast meeting. Ouch.
Russell was selected by the Lakers as the second pick in the first round of last year's NBA draft. The former All-American averages 13.1 points, 3.4 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 72 games this season.
However he managed just five points in the Lakers 123-75 loss to the Jazz, while Young has not played 10 games, and is allegedly suffering from gastroenteritis.
