The Houston Rockets needed to do something special to stave off elimination from the NBA Western Conference finals and James Harden provided it with 45 points in a 128-115 win over the Golden State Warriors.
Harden had the golden touch in the match but his most spectacular contribution didn't even count. As the halftime buzzer sounded, with the Rockets leading 69-59, Harden threw up a full-court heave. And it went in.
Officials checked to see whether the shot counted, but ruled it came just after the buzzer.
The Rockets trail the Warriors 3-1 in the best-of-seven series.
