Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks is happy with Steven Adams' showing, despite the Thunder falling to a 125-117 loss to the LA Clippers.
In just his third NBA start, Adams has scored one point and pulled down six rebounds in 16 minutes of court time.
Brooks said Adams is going to continue to get better.
"There's a big learning curve with him. I think every minute as a starter is almost like triple the minutes coming off the bench.''
Meanwhile, Jason Collins has become the first openly gay athlete in North America's four major professional sports after signing a 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets.
