NBA great LeBron James knows what locker room talk is. He's about to head into the 14th season of his hall of fame worthy NBA career and has spent a lot of time in locker room.
So when Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump attempted to defend recently leaked derogatory comments he made about females in 2005 as "locker room talk", the 2016 NBA Finals MVP wasn't buying it.
According to Cleveland.com, James addressed Trump's 'locker-room' defence to media saying offensive comments towards females never comes up before an NBA game.
"What is locker room talk to me? It's not what that guy said. We don't disrespect women in no shape or fashion in our locker room. That never comes up. Obviously, I got a mother-in-law, a wife, a mom and a daughter and those conversations just don't go on in our locker room," James told reporters.
"What goes on in our locker room is sporting events that happened the night before, about family, about strategies that we may have that night, about a highlight that made it happen- if it was a home run in the bottom of the ninth or it was an alley-oop dunk from a player the night before- that's what happens in our locker room. What that guy was saying, I don't know what that is. That's trash talk."
