The SKYCITY Breakers will unveil their one-off heritage round Mitchell and Ness playing uniform at training today, with the uniform on display for the first time to players and coaches.
This weekend is Heritage Round in the ANBL, encouraging teams to celebrate their history and that of the city and region they play in and represent. This year that focus is on the 90s, across the league.
With the SKYCITY Breakers not formed until 2003, the club has focused more on a celebration of New Zealand, with the singlet incorporating some creative artwork and landmarks, all of which will be revealed this morning at training.
The jerseys will be worn for this one game only and are available to the public on a strictly limited basis at the game.
