It wasn't quite the celebration you'd expect from the first New Zealand team to win a major club competition in Australia.
The Breakers basketballers did pop open one champagne bottle last night, but really it was all a bit quiet.
It was a party at Dillon Boucher's house last night, to celebrate the Breakers beating the Cairns Taipans on Friday. But hangovers made for a muted celebration.
After winning the Australia-New Zealand National Basketball League championships on Friday, the players celebrated by partying until the wee hours.
"The boys had a big night [on Friday]," Boucher said.
An exhausted Boucher said the win was a mixture of relief and excitement.
"We'll celebrate for a few days," he said, and then it was back to training.
Low-key celebration for Breakers
