The Breakers have lost six games in a row and are falling out of playoff contention but power forward Tai Wesley has denied rumours of rifts within the squad.
"It's 100 per cent rumour," he told Radio Sport today. "This team is a tight-knit, close team and there's not nit-picking going on. What's going on is guys are raising their hand, saying 'I messed up, I didn't do my job tonight' and taking responsibility and taking blame. That's a step in the right direction.
"We have to put some wins together and it starts on Friday with the Crocs and we get a re-match and a [chance for] a little revenge on them."
The Breakers were beaten 90-87 by the Cairns Taipans on Saturday night, their inaccuracy from the free-throw line again costing them badly.
