Despite getting himself into trouble with the old coach, Tall Black Dillon Boucher wants to stay on with the Breakers and their new coach.
Boucher does not have a contract for next season, although he has met with new coach Andrej Lemanis and indicated he wants to stay on.
The forward found himself in hot water last season for his infamous text message about the coach at the time, Frank Arsego.
Boucher says all that is behind him now and he is keen to see what Lemanis can do.
He hopes to hear back from the coach as soon as possible about whether he has a contract for next season.
Lemanis has met with all the players on the roster and Boucher is hoping he has done enough to impress the new coach.
The coach's first job is to sign up a playing roster which has left the majority of the Breakers players with a nervous wait.
However, if Boucher does not get picked for the squad, he will assess his options in Australia and his agent will hopefully find him a contract with another ANBL team.
