The Melbourne Tigers have moved clear of the New Zealand Breakers on the Australian National Basketball League ladder after a 96-89 win in Melbourne.
The defending champions backed up their win in Auckland on Thursday with another strong second half display, turning around a five point halftime deficit.
The win is the Tigers' 17th of the season and leaves them outright second with the Breakers back in third.
Coach Andrej Lemanis says his team defended well but could not find the basket enough.
"It';s something that we need to get on top of now, moving into the last five games. We've got to find a way to put a few more points on the board."
In other results, the Wildcats have beaten the Blaze 96-90, the Taipans have overcome the Spirit 89-83, while the Crocodiles have pipped the Hawks 97-95.
