Big man Alex Pledger will join an illustrious club on Friday night when he joins his Breakers teammates in facing the Cairns Taipans.
Pledger will play his 200th Australian Basketball League game in a Breakers singlet becoming just the fifth player to do so.
He joins teammates Mika Vukona and Tom Abercrombie as well as head coach Paul Henare and club chief executive Dillon Boucher as 200-game veterans for the Breakers.
The 29-year-old joined the Breakers in 2009 and has been a solid performer for the club ever since despite a raft on injuries interrupting his career.
The club will celebrate Pledger's milestone during their next home game against the Adelaide 36ers at the North Shore Events Centre on Sunday.
