Basketball: Penney's return still on hold

The Breakers continue to back Kirk Penney's NBA dream.

The Breakers had hoped Penney would return home in time for Wednesday night's opening ANBL home game against the Perth Wildcats.

But Penney has indicated to Breakers he needs more time to assess his options.

Coach Andrej Lemanis says they'll continue to press on without him.

He says all they can do is concentrate on what they have back here.

Lemanis says even without Penney, he still has a great roster to select from.
