The Breakers have lost forward Thomas Abercrombie to injury for at least four weeks.
Abercrombie rolled an ankle during last night's 83-78 Australian basketball league loss to Wollongong.
While x-rays seem to clear the 22-year-old of any broken bones, team physio Anousith Bouaaphone suspects Abercrombie has suffered a grade two lateral ligament sprain. Bouaaphone says the medical team will have a second look when Abercrombie gets back to Auckland this afternoon.
Breakers management has confirmed it will not fill Thomas Abercrombie's spot for Friday night's game with the Wildcats in Perth.
