The New Zealand Breakers have had an injury scare ahead of their ANBL pre-season basketball tournament in Darwin.
With the team already without Kirk Penney who is trialling with the San Antonio Spurs in the US, guard CJ Bruton rolled his ankle in training.
Coach Andrej Lemanis says Bruton will only be out of action for a couple of days.
He says it's likely he'll miss the first two games of the tournament.
The Breakers depart for Darwin today with their first game on Thursday against the Townsville Crocodiles.
