KEY POINTS:
Breakers captain Paul Henare will remain with New Zealand's ANBL franchise for at least another two seasons.
The 28-year-old Tall Black yesterday ended protracted contract negotiations by signing a two-year deal.
With coach Andrej Lemanis in America chasing a point guard, Henare's role is set to change but he said he was "happy and comfortable" with the direction the club was going. Henare is currently playing for Hawkes Bay in the New Zealand NBL.
He joins Brent Charleton, Aaron Olson, Oscar Forman, Mika Vukona, Tony Ronaldson and Tim Behrendorff as players committed to the Breakers for the 2007-08 season.
