KEY POINTS:
Another piece of the New Zealand Breakers' jigsaw puzzle fell into place today with Australian forward Oscar Forman committing to the Australian National Basketball League (ANBL) franchise for the next three years.
The 25-year-old Australian international's re-signing leaves only the import spots open for Auckland-based club ahead of the 2007-08 season, which tips off in September.
"I've been in New Zealand for a year now and I like the club and the direction it is heading in," Forman said.
"It will be exciting to be part of the Breakers' immediate future because the outlook is very positive."
Forman's re-signing follows the off season recruitment of Tall Blacks Phill Jones, Paeora Winitana, Kirk Penney and Australian veteran Tony Ronaldson.
"It's good to have a few Tall Blacks back at the club and the roster looks strong. We have a squad with real depth now and that will ensure you always have to keep pushing yourself hard to make the cut and earn court time."
Forman posted career highs of 10.6 points and 5.2 boards in his debut season in 2006-07, and aims to lift the bar higher.
"I'm still working hard on my game, my physical presence and my skill level. This is an important season and I want to be at my best and make a decisive contribution."
