Canadian Dave Thomas was today named as one of the imports on the New Zealand Breakers roster for the upcoming Australian National Basketball League season.
Thomas, 32, has played 34 times for his country, but most of his career has been in Australia.
The small forward and shooting guard was a key member of the Melbourne Tigers' grand final winning efforts of 2006 and 2007.
His signing means the Breakers have one more spot - a second import - left to fill.
The Auckland club also announced Burger King as their naming rights sponsor today.
