SYDNEY - The New Zealand Breakers tough four-match road trip ended with a 103-115 defeat in Brisbane last night.
A game high 34-point haul by Bobby Brannen carried the Bullets to the comfortable Australia National Basketball League (ANBL) victory.
The Bullets rebounded from last night's crushing loss to Sydney in style riding a 17-4 run leading into halftime.
They led 62-52 at the main break before putting the game out of the Breakers' reach midway through the third quarter.
Brannen, who added 10 rebounds, scored seven points during the golden stretch while a three-pointer from Derek Rucker with 6 minutes 36 seconds remaining in the third all but sealed the result.
American forward Rich Melzer (28) top scored for the Breakers while fellow import Brian Green contributed 27.
After starting their four-games in nine day stretch with a win in Townsville, the 10th-placed franchise could not find another win in Perth, Adelaide or Brisbane leaving them with a 1-13 road record.
