The Auckland-based New Zealand Breakers are to shift their main home court back to the North Shore Events Centre for the upcoming National Basketball League season.
The Breakers have used Trusts Stadium, in west Auckland, as their main arena for the past two years.
But general manager Richard Clarke said the change was part of a new strategy for the club, with the North Shore being home to the strongest basketball community in the country.
The Breakers had one year left on a three-year contract to play most of their home games at Trusts Stadium.
Clarke said the club had reached an agreement with stadium management.
Trusts Stadium would remain the Breakers' training and administration base, and would also be the venue for the club's 100th NBL fixture -- against Perth on October 12.
