KEY POINTS:
The New Zealand Breakers took their winning streak to six with a comfortable 110-88 win over the Gold Coast Blaze in their Australian National Basketball League encounter in Gold Coast last night.
The Breakers pulled away from the last-placed Blaze in the second half after the home side had been competitive until midway through the second quarter.
Tony Ronaldson and Phill Jones topped the points scoring with 25 and 23 respectively, with Oscar Forman, Rick Rickert and CJ Bruton also getting into double figures.
Rickert and Forman also did well at the rebound boards, taking nine each.
Blaze captain Shane Heal top-scored for the home team with 27 points.
The win takes the Breakers to top place in the ANBL after South Dragons had a surprise loss to the financially-troubled Sydney Spirit.
