KEY POINTS:
The Breakers are playoff-bound in the Australian NBL.
They beat the South Dragons 104-93 in Melbourne last night to consolidate their position in the top eight.
They are in sixth but have exactly the same 15-win,12-loss record as the fourth and fifth-placed Wildcats and Crocodiles.
Kirk Penney again led the scoring for the Breakers with 28 points but found great support from imports Derrick Alston and Orien Greene, who scored 17 and 13 points respectively.
Meanwhile, the Sydney Kings beat the Perth Wildcats 104 -85.
The result means Sydney will be the top qualifier for the playoffs.
And the Adelaide 36ers are still alive in the race for the post-season after a 133-97 win over the third-placed Brisbane Bullets.
