Roster rundown. How they fared this season:
Paul Henare
Their organiser, criticised for a low scoring rate but that's not his job. Good leader, hard worker, tough and consistent, good assists-to-turnovers ratio.
Ben Pepper
Much improved this season over last, a real offensive threat now. Enthusiastic defender who provides plenty of blocks. And a block for the team to build on.
Rich Melzer
Showman who loves to score. Showed determination on defence too after he recovered from an injury that cramped his style early on. Worth keeping.
Brian Green
Capable scorer, quick around the court. Draws defence and opens holes for others. But occasionally goes missing in games.
Aaron Olson
Sharp-shooter who became target number one for opposition teams this season. Leads the three-point count with 111 for the season and also leads the fouls count.
Mika Vukona
The find of the season, a ball of explosive energy not afraid of bumping around the bigger guys. Promises huge improvement as he gains experience.
Lindsay Tait
Still finding confidence but is scoring more as that develops. A handy complement to Henare at point guard.
Tim Behrendorff
Looked lost early on but his co-ordination and timing have improved. Shows promise.
Ben Thompson
Hard worker who overcame the disappointment of being dropped by prior management to force a place in the team again.
