Breakers coach Dean Vickerman has issued a plea to officials ahead of the Australian basketball league's grand final series, starting in Perth tonight.
The defending champions and the Wildcats are renowned for their tough defences and have been involved in some of the most physical contests in recent history.
But the Breakers are the most penalised team in the league this season and Vickerman hopes the referees allow a great battle on court.
He says the body contact is something fans and the teams want to see and as long as they're doing it within the rules it will be a great contest.
Wildcats coach Trevor Gleeson says they're not going to take a backwards step and are looking forward to the physical contest.
