The New Zealand Breakers could be headed for a new home.
The draw is out for the next Australian NBL season and although the Breakers will play all 16 home games midweek, the venues have not been confirmed.
There is talk that the Breakers could move from Trusts Stadium to the new 12,000 seat central city stadium in Auckland.
However there is still a year to go on the Breakers' existing contract with Trusts Stadium. Breakers coach Andrej Lemanis admits he would love to play in the inner city at some stage.
He says playing in a facility like that would be fantastic and it would be great for workers being able to walk down from the city after work to watch a game of basketball.
Breakers CEO Richard Clarke says they have an existing agreement with Trusts Stadium and have not entered into an arrangement with any other stadium.
